Social Six Clear Aligners

The concept of the clear aligner is similar to traditional braces in that a force is placed on a tooth in a controlled manner and the body responds by initiating tooth movement. The only difference is that the force is applied through the clear tray.

Clear aligners work best for very mild cases. Usually two sets of aligners are required as the gentle movement takes place incrementally. Each aligner is normally worn full time for about 1 - 2 weeks.

Like the other forms of Social 6 treatment, it is always necessary to hold the teeth in their corrected position with some form of retainer.
